The Cave of Knowledge.
The command came from the father of gods and men himself, the great Zeus.
Pythagoreas had to go to the sacred cave of Idaion Antron, where the god himself was raised, in order to be initiated into the ancient Cretan mysteries, of the endless cycle of life and death.
Only in this way would he obtain the divine wisdom and knowledge that he so desired.
His purpose, something more than sacred.
Humanity needed knowledge to be able to proceed with balance and prudence.
From death comes life.
From darkness the light.
From I the we.
From ignorance the knowledge.
And the Cycle goes on forever.
